HOOLIGANS

When someone starts murdering the leaders of the local Triad in Dunetown, Georgia supercop for the feds, Jake Kilmer, puts together the toughest bunch of ex-cops ever assembled to find the killer.

JAKE KILMER hasn’t been home to Dunetown in twenty years. The place holds bad memories for him. Back in the day he had been the college football star who broke an ankle and, at the same time, shattered a few of his dreams. When his star faded, so did the beautiful young DOE FINDLEY. Then came the war and the horror of war—and the mysterious death of Jake’s best friend, Doe’s brother.
Now twenty years later, Jake is a supercop for the Feds. His specialty is a branch of the Mafia known as the Cincinnati Triad. For years he's pursued them-circling in on their corrupt stench, dodging their bullets.  Now they're set up in Dunetown, Georgia.

Things have changed. The once sleepy town is now referred to as “Doomtown.” A racetrack dominates the city. There are Vegas-style hotels. There’s gambling, sex for sale, and drugs. Greed is in the air. And death. The mob has taken over. But one by one, mobsters are dying. Being slaughtered.

Though much has changed, many of the faces from Jake’s past remain. Eighty-year-old  Sheriff STONEWALL TITAN rules with an iron hand. Doe Findley is still  beautiful, still restless, and, though married to the most important man in the town, still in love with Jake.

There are few new faces, too. There’s a special task force of the roughest, toughest, rowdiest police officers ever assembled. They’re known as the Hooligans. And they are all Jake’s to use as he wishes—if he can control them.
